A Project of Strike Debt (PM Press, 2014, 256 pp.)
You can read this book for free at strikedebt.org/drom, but it’s a handy little resource to keep around. The book has a chapter on tax debt, with many references to NWTRCC resources, but it covers dealing with all kinds of financial issues “for the 99%” from understanding credit ratings, to credit card debt, student debt, and on to dealing with debt collectors. There are chapters on government debt, something called “climate debt”, and then, maybe most importantly, strategies for survival and prospects for change.

Edited by David Gross (Picket Line Press, 2011, 450 pp.)
This collection shows how war tax resistance developed in the Society of Friends in America and how Quaker war tax resistance has been seen by other Americans. These highlight the search for truth within the Society of Friends as well as the interest, concern, and occasional aggravation of those outside of the Society who found themselves trying to understand or navigate the Quaker point of view.
Edited by David R. Bassett, Steve Ratzlaff, and Tim Godshall (2009)
