Network List for the United States
NWTRCC maintains a list of names and addresses of more than a hundred individuals and local organizations in forty states. All the persons or groups listed should be able to give you basic information on what war tax resistance or conscientious objection to paying military taxes is and reasons to engage in it, resources, strategies, and local activities. We hope you will use it to network with others who share your concerns.
Some contacts in the war tax resistance network choose not to be listed on the website. The symbol “♣” is used to indicate the presence of additional individuals; ask the office for more information. NWTRCC affiliates are involved in the movement at a national level; alternative funds (also on a separate page) provide a vehicle to redirect refused tax money; and counselors are prepared to individually help you clarify your decisions in regards to taxes, to explore how to implement them, and to understand the possible consequences of your decisions.
National groups often have local or regional chapters which may provide you with contacts, too. If you are facing litigation because of your actions, please contact someone on this list or the national office for legal referrals. All the persons listed should respect your level of discretion and desire for confidentiality. We trust you will use the list only for the purposes for which it was compiled.
