- This session will begin with NWTRCC updates, followed by an opportunity for folks around the country to share a little about their war tax resistance journey. During the sharing, we would like folks to especially highlight if they have participated in any collaboration with other justice movements. If you are new to war tax resistance, please take this as an opportunity to hear about a variety of war tax resistance practices, and to share your own thoughts and concerns about war tax resistance.
2:00 – 4:00p Eastern (11a-1p Pacific): War Tax Resistance 101
- War Tax Resistance 101 An introduction to the why and how of this form of resistance, with discussion of potential consequences and resource referral. For people new to WTR or just getting started. Facilitated by Lincoln Rice (NWTRCC Coordinator) & Chrissy Kirchhoefer (NWTRCC Outreach Consultant).
5:00 – 7:00p Eastern (2p-4p Pacific): War Tax Resistance 201
- WTR 201 Updates, trends, and Q&A for current war tax resisters. With NWTRCC Coordinator Lincoln Rice and the expert resisters in attendance!
